Finding Performing Animals In Las Vegas

Las Vegas has stars that are of the four-footed variety too. Not to mention reptiles, birds, beetles and aquatic life as well. For anyone who loves animals, whether you're a kid or an adult, you'll find a lot to see in Las Vegas. Why, you'll even find shows where animals are the stars of the performance and you could walk into a nightclub and find that it has its shows centered around animals. Las Vegas is definitely the place to be if you are seeking out make-believe and escapism.

If animals make you purr with delight, you must swing by the Southern Nevada Zoological-Botanical Park. This is certainly one of the smaller zoos you have been to but it makes up for it with some extremely rare animals. Here you will be lucky to see the last of the Barbary apes in America. You can also look at and enjoy the strange reptiles and emus, chimpanzees, flamingos and wallabies.

You can watch animals in Las Vegas, not just in the zoos but in museums too. You may just find some free performances. Of course, you'll find animal acts at some of the nightclubs as well. When in Vegas, don't miss the Mirage. Here, you'll find the White Tiger Habitat where you can see these glorious animals in a pristine white environment. Why white? So the animals can blend in and feel protected to some degree. Unfortunately, these animals are now extinct in the wild so you can count yourself fortunate to be able to see them and as a free exhibit at that!

Also at the Mirage, you'll find the Mirage Aquarium with its huge faux coral reef and sixty species that belong to the coral reefs from all over the world. This 20,000-gallon saltwater aquarium is just behind the front desk and displays a host of bizarre sea creatures. You'll also discover the Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat here. This provides a good environment for these incredible animals and is also a remarkable place for people to discover the role they play in the biosphere. If you are over 13, you might pay a price and become a trainer for a day and this makes for a memorable experience.

If you'd like some more glimpses into marine life, remember to visit the Mandalay Baby Shark Reef which turns out to be among the largest when it comes to marine shows in the U.S. There is an entrance fee but it's worth paying that fee because it really is one of the best outings you can have in Las Vegas. All this is just a foretaste of what Vegas can provide. There's a lot more to see of course. If you love animals, you'll find so much that will appeal to you in Vegas.

Broward Center for Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale

A great number of communities nowadays are in disarray. You're quite lucky if you live in a quite, safe, and friendly community; and you should be thankful for it. Can arts help build unity in a certain community? The answer to that question is a yes and this was proven by Broward Center for Performing Arts.

You see, Broward engages the community through performing arts. This is a dream for most cities all over the world but in Broward County and Fort Lauderdale City, the Broward Center for Performing Arts was the answer to their long time dream.

During the 1940s and 1950s, the cultural community of South Florida made great efforts to meet the expanding and changing needs of performing arts. Parker Playhouse and the Memorial Auditorium of Fort Lauderdale were the proponents of this performing arts center. It took many years of careful planning, dedication, and passion before the center was put up.

It was only in February of 1991 when Broward Center for Performing Arts was inaugurated. For almost 30 years of hard work, the dream of this county finally came true. The venue has larger seating capacity, better meeting facilities, and a spacious backstage. At present, the community now enjoys the best of entertainment and performing arts.

The center invites the whole community to take part in the performing arts. Any individual can try theater, ballet, and different kinds of dances. You can also learn more about music, from opera, classical, to pop. All throughout the year, the center holds different performances.

If you think that the show ends at the fall of the curtain on stage, you're wrong. For Broward Center, any individual irregardless of age can take advantage of the innovative educational programs. The center has two theaters with more than 3,000 seating capacity and is open all year round. Anyone can schedule and plan an affair at the center. You and your guests can enjoy Broward Center's first rate catering service and modern facilities. If you feel like something is missing in your life, it might be the Broward Center experience.

Here are some of the presenters in Broward Center for Performing Arts – Broadway Across America, Florida's Concert Association and Grand Opera, Miami Ballet, Jazz Society, and the Symphony of Americas.

Individual artists can avail of the different programs in Broward Center as these are available throughout the year. You can go for career advancement, research, creation, and development, career development, international arts, regional touring, apprenticeship programs, field networks, and many others. You simply have to choose a program that you’re interested in and then sign up for it. Other artists are there to join you. You can develop your skills for performing arts and someday be able to perform on-stage with famous performers and artists. Starting at an early age is a great disadvantage. If you have kids who like performing arts, encourage them to take up programs at Broward Center.

Broward Center for Performing Arts has been around for many years now. It has engaged the community to take part in performing arts and somehow, it promoted peace, security, and unity in the county. If you ever drop by at the city of Fort Lauderdale, don’t forget to visit Broward Center. This may be your chance to see a performing arts center that's among the best in the world.
